The Culinary unit plans monthly menus, purchases all supplies necessary for meals, completes grocery shopping. Maintains sanitation of kitchen and equipment, serves coffee, ensures timely rotation of stock and produces a delicious and nutritious lunch each day. Culinary unit also provides the following:
Cafe - The Cafe is managed by the culinary unit. The Cafe is where we sell a variety of items including ice cream, baked goods, candy, pop, coffee, and an assortment of sweet treats. Working in the Cafe includes training on the cash register, learning to be a runner for the Cafe and end of day accounting procedures associated with sales clerk responsibilities. |
